What are the entry requirements for studying any of your fitness courses?
You must have completed high school. Proof of certificate is compulsory.
What is the registration process?
Once you have selected the course/s you want to apply for, you select a payment option. Upon receipt of your application and verification of payment, our administrator will be in contact to confirm your registration. Thereafter you will receive login credentials which gives you access to the NASM online learning platform.
If I select a monthly payment plan, will the instalment be deducted from my banking account?
Yes. Every month on the same day of registration, your account will be debited with the minimum amount as indicated on the payment plan you have selected
What is the method of programme delivery? Online, virtual or face-to-face?
There are no classroom lecture requirements in any of our NASM courses. The NASM online learning portal has interactive world-class video content. We also have a national network of tutors and Master Trainers who will be able to assist you with your studies in a one-on-one context. We further endeavour to create practical experiences for our students by connecting each student with an industry-leader in their field of study.
How do I receive my learning materials?
You can download all course materials from the online learning platform.
Are your fitness course internationally recognized and accredited?
Yes. Our partnership with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in the USA provides our students the exclusive option to complete a globally-recognised certification.
Can I register for your courses although I’m not based in Nigeria, but in any other West African country?
Yes, you can study while based in any other West African country, as the course content is entirely available online.
Are there any theory exams?
Only with certain courses. Our primary assessment tool is a practical examination due to the nature of the courses we offer. Some courses do have theoretical examinations; however, these usually take the form of online multiple-choice examinations.
How long does the course take to complete?
The majority of our qualifications will take a year to complete, however you have 2 years to complete your course. You can complete the course in a shorter timeframe if you are able to complete all the course requirements to the prescribed level. The recommended timeframes are based on spending 1 hour per day studying.
How do I get my certificate?
After successfully completed your course, you will receive a digital i-Fitness certificate of completion, and a NASM accredited certificate.
Do I need gym or sports experience to become a personal trainer, fitness coach or a certified nutrition coach?
No, you can begin studying towards becoming a personal trainer, nutrition, or sports coach having never stepped inside a gym or on a sports field, although you will be expected to spend a large amount of your time in the gym or on the sports field while you are studying
Do I need a PC, laptop or tablet and internet to do the course?
Yes, our courses are based online, and will require access to a PC, laptop or mobile device, as well as internet access. You will be required to submit many of your assessments online.
Do I have to be fit and or in shape to study any fitness courses?
No, not necessarily. However, we encourage all our students to live what they learn, allowing them to gain valuable experience in becoming a fitness professional.
